Apple just recently changed the logo for iTunes, they got rid of the shiny CD which was behind the musical note… I personally liked the old one better, I don’t see the need to change it. But yeah, this is the new logo.

It is always useful to have a nice database of popular brand logos which can come in handy for inspiration and for use when needed, i.e. insertion onto designs. You can download a package of the most famous logos from here.

I just noticed this CNN logo for their Arabic website “Bil 3arabiya“, meaning “IN ARABIC”. The CNN logo was incorporated into the Arabic word. SInce in Arabic you read from left to right, adding the dots on the NNC (reversed) would give you, perfectly, the last 3 letters of BIL 3ARABIYA in Arabic.

Saw this in a supermarket the other day in Kuwait. Its a sugar brand that is copying the famous Sugar In The Raw brand. They used the famous image on the package and photoshoped their product to insert it.
